Nick Ross

DGCOS is endorsed by consumer champion Nick Ross, who is famously known for presenting of BBC’s Watchdog and Crimewatch. Nick Ross is a consumer advocate, and has been an avid campaigner for consumer protection for many years. He has worked with ABTA, the Department Of Work and Pensions, and the World Travel and Tourism Council.

DGCOS founder, Tony Pickup, first approached Nick because he was a champion of the ombudsman idea, and the more Nick read and learnt about the scheme the more impressed he became about the DGCOS approach. Before agreeing to work with DGCOS, Nick conducted his own thorough research into the industry and what we aimed to achieve, and everything he found, reinforced his opinion that DGCOS is a scheme that will not only benefit the industry but will fundamentally help consumers.

Nick shares our ethos that a quality Ombudsman Scheme is exactly what the industry needs and believes that the protection we offer is not only necessary but a reflection of what he has always championed for.
